OUR MISSION
The Huachuca Mineral and Gem Club, Inc. is a nonprofit, nonsectarian and nonpolitical association.
We have in-person monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of every month (Except July and December), at 6:30pm, at the Sierra Vista Police Station, and field trips the following Saturday, to be announced at the meeting.
The purpose of this group, and the HMGC, are to gain knowledge and enjoyment:
1. In the fields of Geology, Mineralogy, Gemology, Archaeology, Paleontology and Astronomy.
2. In the design and fabrication of lapidary items and jewelry.
3. To promote recreation among members and generate goodwill among the community.
4. To implement and maintain a scholarship program that reflects the interests of the club.
The best way to get to know us and see if we fit what you are looking for would be to attend a meeting. Additionally, if you are active on social media, we have a Facebook group where some of our members are active posting questions and things they have found.
